Reporting to the Electrical Assisant Director, the incumbent is responsible to manage the implementation of the projects going from the elaboration, the design of plans, drawings and technical specifications all the way to the control of the construction projects.

Job responsibilities

  • Performs the design of plans, drawings, technical specifications and addenda (70%)
  • Estimates the cost of materials required for the project (10%)

 Others (20%):

  • Performs field surveys and construction site visits
  • Writes the observation or visit reports, construction site directives and change notices (under supervision)
  • Inspects electrical installations (under supervision)
  • Participates in the supervision and control of the construction projects

  • Accurate information on plans
  • Validation of the information to be transmitted

Job requirements

  •  College degree in electricity with a specialization in electrodynamics
  •  Minimum of 4 years pertinent experience in the engineering field
  •  Base technical knowledge: electrical distribution, motor protection and controls, fire alarm systems, generators and UPS, lighting
  •  French/English written and spoken
  • Computer knowledge: Windows, Word, Excel, AutoCAD
